Cost panic calls for Quality focus
Focus on quality (elimination of waste) and time is the best way to bring down your cost - in a sustainable way. Combining this focus with professional data analysis is the way to go. Please, remember this when entering the possible impending recession. Equally important is to spend time on identifying what NOT to do, but also spending time on identifying the areas you need to boost, in spite of cost reduction. Embracing the concept “elimination of waste” in a proper way over time (related to the Big Picture from former Calendar Window) means that we don’t have to panic in cost reduction every time times get worse.
